Dodgers News: Justin Bruihl Leaves Monday’s Spring Training Game With Apparent Injury
The Dodgers are being hit with quite the injury bug this spring training. On the same day that Tony Gonsolin left practice with what turned out to be a left ankle sprain, LHP Justin Bruihl was removed from Monday’s spring training game with an injury of his own.
We don’t know exactly what happened, but Bruihl was removed from the game against the San Diego Padres after facing just two batters. He walked one and hit another with a pitch, and then was taken out of the game. We’ll continue to update you on Bruihl’s status when we know more.
This was Bruihl’s third appearance of the spring. His first one didn’t go too well, as he allowed two earned runs on two hits in one inning of work. He then made a second appearance against the Cincinnati Reds, and pitched a scoreless inning.
His third appearance brought the worst luck, as he left the game with the injury. Again, we’ll continue to update you on his status, but let’s hope Justin is okay!
