Justin Turner has been sidelined since he was forced to come out of May 18th’s game against the Miami Marlins. Turner was thrown out at home plate as he limped the last 45 feet in what looked to be severe pain.
Turner was putting up All-Star like numbers before he went down with his hamstring injury. He currently owns a .379 AVG with a .453 OBP over the course of 162 plate appearances.
The only thing that Justin Turner has not provided the Dodgers with this season is home runs. Coming off of a year in which he hit 27, it is a little surprising to see that he has only hit one so far.
The one thing the Dodgers have been lacking the last two weeks is consistency in their lineup. Justin Turner should be the perfect answer to those inconsistencies.
