Dodgers News: Kershaw, Seager Among 4 Dodger All-Stars
Dave Roberts expected to have six Dodger All-Stars. He was off by two.
Corey Seager, Clayton Kershaw, Kenley Jansen and Cody Bellinger have made the team. More surprisingly, Justin Turner and Alex Wood did not.
Seager lost the fan vote to Reds shortstop Zack Cozart. Kershaw will get the nod as starter, but his pitching schedule may scratch him from that honor.

Turner is one of the final five players eligible. In what’s become a popular trend of partnering with a team in the opposing league, the Dodgers and Royals are teaming up to get their respective third basemen in the game.
.@Dodgers, we’re in this together! Let’s #VoteMoose and #VoteJT all week long to get them both to the #ASG! https://t.co/rv37SsLwre pic.twitter.com/IzYDFvgNph

Wood’s snub isn’t a good look for baseball. He’s 9-0, with the lowest ERA and FIP among NL starters. He’s likely the first one called when the inevitability of a starter or two dropping out occurs.
Look out for Dodgers in the Futures Game, as well
look no further for blame on why at least 6 deserving Dodgers were not named to the all star game than Dodger ownership themselves. Joe Davis, Orel Hershiser. Jerry Hairston Jr. and all the hosts of the Dodger channel can level all the blame they want on Dodger fans, because 75 % of the fans won’t hear them, they don’t get sports net LA!! Whose fault is that Joe? Orel? Jerry? It’s Dodger owner greed. Put them on television where a host of old loyal fans and a slew of new fans can witness JT’s tremendous defense along with his high potent offense. Let them see Alex Wood over power hitters with his live fastballs and savvy off speed pitches. There is no doubt the Dodgers deserved at least six all stars voted on the team and yet with only 30% of there fan base seeing them on TV, it’s a no brainer they did not have one single all star starter. So go back to your employers and let them know the reasons behind no all star starters for the first place Dodgers. It is truly a shame. but ownership is to blame.
