Dodgers News: Team Signs Cuban Prospects
The Los Angeles Dodgers finally actually did something! The offseason, while stuffed to the brim with all sorts of rumors, reports and sources, the actual action taking place has been pretty lackluster.
So, it’s that much more noteworthy when something actually takes place.

Sources: Dodgers agree to $15.5 million deal with OF prospect Yusniel Diaz & $6M deal with INF Omar Estevez. Check https://t.co/mkcBseoZWQ

Diaz is only 18 years old but is considered a top-20 Cuban prospect, according to Baseball America. Being so young, it’s hard to imagine he’ll get much time at the major league level, so this is far from an immediate fix for the outfield issues.
Estvez is 17 and not ranked by Baseball America.
One random note: all I want in life if for the outfield to have Yusniel and Yasiel in it. They even look oddly similar, which adds yet another element to how cool that would be.
