Dodgers News: Watch Freddie Freeman Hit the First Home Run of Spring for LA
It’s time for Dodgers Baseball!
This Saturday the Dodgers faced the Milwaukee Brewers in Maryvale for the team’s first Spring Training game of the year.
Down 1-0 in the top of the third inning, Freddie Freeman snet one to right field to score the team’s first runs of the year.
Oh, how I missed the sound of chants yelling “Freddie, Freddie” as the All-Star rounds the bases. With a homer like that, it’s no surprise that he had the second-best batting average last season posting a .325 AVG with 199 base hits, 21 of which were home runs.
Freddie’s home run is promising for another great season ahead as he’ll play a few weeks with the Dodgers before taking off to represent team Canada in the World Baseball Classic this March.
Now one of the leaders of this team, fans are sure excited to see what Freeman is going to do this upcoming season. It’s good to be back.
