Dodgers Notes: Latest Julio Urias Update, Former Reliever Hangs Em Up, Corbin Burnes to LA?
Julio Urias’ time as an LA Dodger has come to an end. After being arrested under the suspicion of domestic violence earlier in the season, the Dodgers are uninterested in re-signing the 2023 free agent, per J.P. Hoornstra of the Orange County Register.
In other news, reliever Joe Kelly spoke about the possibility of retiring and the Dodgers are the betting favorites to land pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto as he transitions from professional baseball in Japan to Major League Baseball. Additionally, Corbin Burnes to LA?

Joe Kelly at $9 million? Evan Phillips, Graterol, Brasier, Ferguson, Vesia, Gonzalez, Shelby Miller [hope he returns] Yarbrough, Almonte, Grove, Kyle Hurt, Sheehan (?) $740,000 – $2 million for each except Phillips [$3,000,000 ?] and likely they find one or two others as they do each year as free agents, discards from others. Bullpen ERA was probably #1 after the All-Star game. Plenty of talent here. They can use the money toward signing Snell, Yamamoto, trading for Burnes, Glasnow [and Ohtani]
I was hoping the Dodgers would sign Snell also but, Boras is his agent so that probably means it won’t happen.
