Dodgers Notes: Max Muncy Extension, Clayton Kershaw Update, Nolan Arenado and Alex Verdugo to LA?
Dodgers infielder Max Muncy will be staying in Los Angeles.
The veteran infielder signed a two-year contract extension and will remain in LA until at least 2025. Muncy had a subpar batting average at just .212 this season, but his 36 home runs and 105 RBIs were a powerful tool the Dodgers had at their disposal all season.
In other news, the Yoshinobu Yamamoto sweepstakes have taken a step forward as a the Dodgers continue to vy for his coveted signature. Jim Bowden of The Athletic predicts wherever Yamamoto signs will give him a seven-year, $211 million contract for his services.
Additionally we have rumors on Nolan Arenado, Alex Verdugo and, of course, the latest on Clayton Kershaw.
