Dodgers: Padres Are the Favorites on Monday, Ending a Ridiculous Betting Streak For Los Angeles

The Dodgers have been the betting favorites in every game they have played for a very long time. In fact, it’s a streak that dates all the way back to 2019. Los Angeles has been the favored team in every matchup for 150 consecutive games. That streak is absolutely insane in the betting world.

That streak appears to be coming to an end tonight in San Diego. The Dodgers have a lot of things working against them with injuries to stars like Max Muncy and Cody Bellinger. That times out very unfortunately for them with the Padres throwing Yu Darvish on Monday.

The overnight betting line for the Dodgers sat at +105 at BetMGM. That can change hour-to-hour, but it’s not expected to change much in this one, barring a major announcement. Depending on how the money moves and how the bettors handle it, there is a possibility the streak could continue.

The Dodgers are also coming into the series on a bit of a hot streak. The offense has started to come together and score runs more consistently, and the bullpen is relatively rested up. Julio Urias is a bit of a concern since his last few starts have been spotty, but he’s mostly been effective all year.

If it does come to an end tonight, what a wild ride it has been.

San Diego is favored in Vegas. That’s why
