  1. Ok, $25M for Stroman or $30M for Scherzer. Why are we even having this conversation?

      1. I watched… I watched The Braves starter, Ian Anderson, throw 5 innings of no-hit ball. I then watched starter Max Fried throw 6 innings of shutout ball, in the 6th and deciding game of the series.
        Did you miss those games?

        1. Max Fried – 3.5 million
          Ian anderson – rookie wages

          vs

Millions for sherzer, millions for stroman, millions for other dodger starters

  2. Yes and have him to do his pre-start bullpen session in a playoff game. We’re such a nice ball club evening the playing field for our opponents

        1. Very true what ya mentioned here, Don. It’s a definition of insanity, doing the same things over and over expecting different results. In that 2019 NLDS in game 5 against Nats, Roberts clearly said he would make those exact same pitching decisions over again.

  3. Pitchers come to LA and often excel. Stroman could come and be really good. But at the same time; Scherzer finishing his career in LA (2-3 years) could be what gets us deep in the post season again. Can’t really see Friedman going for both.

  4. Stroman is an innings eater at the back of the rotation. We’ve got that already for the MLB minimum in White, Jackson and The Catman. Why waste $25MM on him? Dustin May should be in the picture come August as well ( May 2020 TJ surgery).

  5. I think that he would be a great addition to our team. Throw in Scherzer coming back, and even consider signing Noah Syndergaard, Zach Davies, and even Justin Verlander.
