Dodgers Score: Game Updates vs Phillies on Tuesday, Miguel Rojas Returns to Shortstop vs LHP

The first place Dodgers (17-13) continue the series against the Phillies (15-15) at Dodger Stadium tonight and they do so with their ace on the mound. The starting rotation flips over once again and Julio Urias (3-3, 4.41 ERA) makes his 7th start of the year and goes up against Philadelphia lefty Matt Strahm (2-2, 2.31 ERA).

The big news of the game is the return of Bryce Harper for the Phillies. He returns after undergoing Tommy John surgery just 5 months ago.

Here’s what the Dodger lineup looks like against the left-hander.

Mookie Betts is back out in right field as Miguel Rojas makes his first start at shortstop in nearly two weeks. Austin Barnes catches Urias as Will Smith is the DH. Chris Taylor is also back in the lineup. He had 2 hits in his last start. The usual lefty-swinging suspects are in the lineup as well with Freddie Freeman, Max Muncy, and James Outman in their usual spots.

Somewhat surprisingly, Trayce Thompson is out of the starting 9 vs the LHP. He’s hitting .080 vs lefties this year and only .199 for his career.

Julio Urias looks to get back on track after losing 3 straight decisions and ballooning his ERA from 1.50 to 4.41 (13 ER over his last 14.2 IP). He’s fared much better at Dodger Stadium this year, posting a 2.04 ERA at the friendly confines of Chavez Ravine.

The former Padre Matt Strahm has pitched well against LA in his career, posting a 1.35 ERA over 13 appearances (2 starts).
