Dodgers Score: Live Game Updates and Odds vs Padres on Sunday, Urias/Musgrove, How to Watch
The Dodgers go for the series win over the Padres with their ace on the mound. Julio Urias (4-3, 3.86 ERA) makes his 8th start of the year against Padres All-Star Joe Musgrove (1-0, 10.80 ERA) who is making his 3rd start of the season. The Dodgers get their second national broadcast game in the last two weeks with this afternoon’s game on ESPN.
Dave Roberts is back in the dugout after being away for his son’s college graduation yesterday. Here’s a look at the lineup Doc is running out against the right-hander, Musgrove.
The 1-4 is the same as usual against right-handed pitching with Max Muncy sliding back up to the cleanup spot and back in at third base. He’s owned Musgrove over his career with a .429 average against him. Jason Heyward gets the start at DH with an outfield of David Peralta in left, James Outman in center, and Mookie Betts in right field. Mookie has also had success against Musgrove with a .417 career average against the righty.
Will Smith catches Urias and last night’s hero, Chris Taylor, gets the start at shortstop today.

Urias is coming off his best start of the season where he allowed 1 run on 1 hit (a Trea Turner home run) over 7 innings. He struck out 10 Phillies. Julio has pitched well against the Padres over his career with a 6-1 record and 2.19 ERA over 15 games (10 starts). He has a 2.56 ERA in 31.2 innings at Petco Park in his career.
Musgrove missed most of the first month of the season thanks to a injury he suffered when he dropped a kettlebell on his toe during spring training. He’s also been more recently dealing with a blister on his foot. The right-hander is 0-6 lifetime vs the Dodgers with a 4.04 ERA in 9 starts.
