Dodgers vs. Angels: How to Watch, Predictions, and More

The Los Angeles Dodgers will play in their third Cactus League game of the season on Saturday against the Los Angeles Angels. Through two games, the Dodgers are 2-0, with a pair of wins against the San Diego Padres.

Tyler Glasnow will make his first start for the Dodgers on Saturday. The Dodgers signed Glasnow to a five-year, $136.5 million deal in the offseason after he previously played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Tampa Bay Rays. On the Angels’ side, Victor Mederos is getting the start.

How to Watch

Dodgers-Angels will begin at 12:10 p.m. PT. For Dodgers fans, the game will be airing on Spectrum SportsNet LA. The game will also be radio broadcast through Dodgers Radio AM570 or KTNQ 1020.

Angels fans can tune in to watch on Bally Sports West. They can also listen in on the radio via KLAA 830.

Predictions

The Dodgers’ batting lineup has impressed through two games this season. In their first Cactus League game of the season, they scored a whopping 14 runs, including eight in just the first inning. This is before Shohei Ohtani has even made his debut in the lineup.

The Dodgers followed it up with a 4-1 win over the Padres again Friday, with Freddie Freeman hitting his first home run of the season.

With the Dodgers going up against an inexperienced starter in Mederos, they have an excellent shot at another big day for their batters.

More

Will Kevin Padlo continue his hot start? The 27-year-old has moved in and out of the minor and major leagues since 2021 and signed a minor league contract that included a Spring Training invitation with the Dodgers in 2024. After hitting the Dodgers’ first home run of the season Thursday and scoring another run on Friday, Padlo could be looking at more time in the majors if he continues to build off this start.
