Dodgers vs Padres: Lineups, Pregame Matchups, and More for September 27

In their final series of the season, the Dodgers are set to take on the Padres in what has been a lopsided season series. The Dodgers are full steam ahead with their eye on the postseason while the Padres still are fighting for a playoff spot, and will likely make it.

The NL West showdown could be a sign of things to come in the postseason so this matchup is something for fans to keep an eye out despite the Padres not having Fernando Tatis Jr. However, if the season is any signs of things to come, the Dodgers should handle the Padres in this series once again with a 12-4 season series lead.

To make this game even sweeter, the Dodgers are one win away from breaking the franchise record for most wins in a season. It’s hard to think of a better time to clinch the record than against your very own NL West rivals.

The clash between the ball clubs will feature Tyler Anderson starting on the mound for the Dodgers. Anderson will make his 27th start of the season with a 15-4 record and a 2.52 ERA. Blake Snell draws the start for the Padres.

The top of the batting order goes back to business as Mookie Betts, Trea Turner, and Freddie Freeman return to wreak havoc once again. Only change-ups since Sunday are Chris Taylor, Trayce Thompson, and Austin Barnes finding themselves back at the bottom of the lineup.

The main goal for the Dodgers now is to remain healthy until the end of the season and keep any positive momentum going. The first pitch is set for 6:40 PM and you can watch your Dodgers on SNLA as they look for their franchise-breaking win number 107.
