Dodgers Win NLDS Game 1, Trea Turner Breaks Out, Urias & Bullpen Gets it Done

The Dodgers survive a mid-game onslaught from the Padres to take game 1 by a final of 5-3. Julio Urias was cruising up until the 5th inning when he lost command of his breaking ball and fastball. Ultimately, he escaped while keeping his pitch count relatively low, making him an intriguing option if this series goes to 4 or 5 games.

On offense, Trea Turner got the party started with a first inning homer. Will Smith chipped in with 2 hits and a run batted in. Gavin Lux and Max Muncy also knocked in runs.

After the game, we went live on YouTube and got the input of the fans in the chat.
