Mookie Betts Representing Dodgers Very Well in Korea; Here Are 2 Incredible Stories

The Los Angeles Dodgers are off to an excellent start to their 2024 campaign. The Boys in Blue came out on top against their division rivals, the San Diego Padres, on Wednesday, and will aim to leave Korea undefeated.

The team has been in Korea for the last week, and their trip is almost ending. Although the Dodgers are a worldwide brand and are among the top teams in the world, they realize the importance of making a good impression wherever they go. Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Mookie Betts is representing the Boys in Blue perfectly.

According to MLB Network’s Jon Morosi, Betts did two interviews after the win on Wednesday — including one with a Korean network — and was the last Dodger to leave the field.

Betts is proving that even the biggest of superstars can take time to represent the Dodgers well, and doing so in another country will only grow the Dodgers brand.

As for his work on the field, Morosi reports that Betts was taking ground balls at shortstop during the team’s off day at Tuesday, leaving an impression on his teammates.

He was flawless at shortstop in his first game on Wednesday.

The six-time All-Star is a great ambassador for the league and baseball. Win or lose, Betts will do his best to represent the game and the Dodgers as best he can. The Dodgers are fortunate to have a class act like Betts representing the organization.
