Tweets Of The Night: Zack Greinke Dominant, Dodgers Win 4-1
After a two-game losing streak, the Dodgers got back on track with a 6-4 victory last night. After not starting last night, Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig delivered the game-winning home run in the eighth inning.
Chris Capuano pitched well enough to win, but Brandon League allowed a run in the seventh inning that tied things at four. The Marlins defense didn’t help out their pitching as they committed two errors.
Tonight, Zack Greinke faces off against former Dodger Nate Eovaldi, who was acquired in the Hanley Ramirez last July. In his last three starts, Greinke is 3-0 with a 0.69 ERA and is 11-3 on the season.
Meanwhile, Eovaldi has the highest registered fastball in all of baseball as he’s been hitting 96 mph, but hasn’t gotten too much run support. With one of their Cy Young award winners on the mound, the Dodgers look to put another winning streak together tonight in South Florida. Let’s get to the tweets.
