Watch Mookie Betts Make Incredible Double-Play For Dodgers
Just when the Dodgers thought Mookie Betts needed time to adjust to playing second base every day, he made an incredible play in the first inning against the Los Angeles Angels at Tempe Diablo Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
With runners on first and second, Mike Trout hit a fly ball to right field, and Andy Pages made the heads-up throw to the cut-off man, Kevin Padlo. Padlo looked around for a play after Mickey Moniak tagged from second and took third, and Betts snuck in behind Nolan Schanuel, the runner at first, to get the double-play.
Taylor Glasnow got Taylor Ward to line out on the next to end the inning.
