Talk about seeing into the future! Soon after this was recorded, the Dodgers recalled outfield prospect DJ Peters and had to place Zach McKinstry on the injured list. With Peters likely set to get his first big league start on Saturday against Padres ace Blake Snell, it’s a heck of a welcome to the show.
Still, with several big bats in slumps or on the IL, LA looks to the DJ to spin them out of this rough patch at the plate.

NEXT: Dave Roberts Not Concerned With the Stalled Out Offense
This team is in big trouble. Can’t hit southpaws, curve balls. Pathetic batting averages are a concern. Taking Padres and Giants to lightly is going to be their downfall.
Dodgers have several players with the worst splits against RHP and especially LHP.
Start playing small ball, guys!!! Hit the ball to the opposite side of the field!!!!! The lefty guys should try to hit to left field and the righty guys to the right field!!!! Why do you have to pull the ball every time? With all the switches going on, it makes it very difficult!!! And learnbb by to bunt the ball too!! The other teams do it to you many times!!!
What are the hitting coaches for?
I wonder if the Dodgers make the playoff’s will they let anyone play with a hang nail or a sore ear. Either the Dodgers trainers and medical staff are still in nursing school, or the players should be choosing new careers. I suggest water polo.
LOL But caution or extreme caution with players is the current chosen path. But ya may have a valid point about the medical and training staff.
