Dodgers: Clayton Kershaw’s Emotional Goodbye to Joc Pederson and Kiké Hernández

It’s never easy to watch some of your favorite players leave your favorite team. Dodgers fans know that feeling all too well this offseason, as several big names head out to different teams across the league.

Two of those guys that left were Joc Pederson and Kiké Hernández. Both guys have been full-time members of the Dodgers organization since 2015, and both signed new deals with other teams. Pederson left the Dodgers to sign a 1-year deal with the Cubs, while Hernández heads out to Boston on a 2-year pact.

For all of those years and moments that those 2 guys have been a part of the team, Clayton Kershaw has been there. He got to watch both of them become Dodgers and watch both of them have huge moments with the team. On Monday evening, he posted an emotional goodbye and thank you to them.

Hernandez came over to the Dodgers in the trade that sent Dee Gordon and Dan Haren to the Marlins in 2014. Joc was drafted by the team out of Palo Alto High School way back in 2010, almost opting to go to college instead of signing.

Wherever they go in their playing careers, they will always be remembered for bringing a World Series title back to the Dodgers.
