Dodgers: Dave Roberts Wishes Rams Good Luck Ahead of NFC Championship Game

While it is currently the offseason for Major League Baseball and the status of the current lockout is still up in the air, Dodgers fans have a chance to root for another Los Angeles-based team with championship aspirations. The Los Angeles Rams are scheduled to host the San Francisco 49ers at Sofi Stadium in yet another Northern and Southern California showdown.

Both the Rams and 49ers belong to the NFC West division so it will be the third time the two teams will face off this season with on hoping to advance to Super Bowl LVI which will be held here in LA at Sofi Stadium.

Dave Roberts knows a thing or two about the bright lights of the postseason, as well as having to face an all too familiar foe. The Dodgers stacked up against the San Francisco Giants during last season’s NLDS which ended with the Dodgers advancing to the NLCS. Doc had some wishes of good luck for his fellow LA athletes while sitting next to the 2020 World Series trophy.

“Rams fans, LA is a city of champions. Let’s get this house-rocking today. Bring home another championship to the city of LA.”

Los Angeles has become a city of championships recently as both the Dodgers and Lakers won it all in their respective sports in 2020. The Rams fell short in their season to complete the trifecta, but they have a great chance to make up for it this year. They have a tough match today with the 49ers, but a win today would secure their spot in Super Bowl LVI. They would become just the second team to play a Super Bowl in their home stadium.
