Dodgers Get Craig Kimbrel Back For Giants Series

The Dodgers will head up to San Francisco this weekend to take on the giants in a three-game series. It’s just the second time this year that the two NL west teams have matched up.

But this series also brings very good news for a tired Dodgers bullpen. Craig Kimbrel missed the Chicago series while out on maternity leave. That left Dave Roberts with one less elite bullpen arm.

The team announced today that Kimbrel will be returning for the Giants series. in order to make room for him on the active roster, Mitch White was optioned to AAA.
