Dodgers News: David Peralta Scratched From Friday’s Lineup Minutes Before Game

The Los Angeles Dodgers have scratched outfielder David Peralta from Friday’s lineup against George Kirby and the Seattle Mariners.

Peralta, who was slated to bat in the six-hole, is dealing with an elbow issue after being hit by a pitch on Sunday, but was able to play during the series against the Padres.

However, clearly something flared up, causing him to be scratched just 20 minutes before first pitch.

Kiké Hernández replaced Peralta in the lineup, and will be batting 7th.

Here’s the new lineup in its entirety.

We’ll continue to provide updates when we know more, but for now, we know Peralta will not be playing on Friday against the Mariners. Hopefully it’s nothing serious.

UPDATE:

David Peralta was scratched with lower back tightness, per the Dodgers.
