Dodgers News: Julio Urias Court Date Revealed as Organization Issues Statement on Incident

Dodgers LHP Julio Urias was arrested and charged with felony domestic violence on Sunday night. The Dodgers have officially released a statement, stating they are aware of the situation and that Urias will not be traveling with the team for right now.

“We are aware of an incident involving Julio Urías. While we attempt to learn all the facts, he will not be traveling with the team. The organization has no further comment at this time.”

Additionally, Urias’ court date has been set for September 27, just days before the beginning of the postseason. Urias was suspended 20 games in 2019 for an altercation involving his girlfriend out of a mall, however, he was not charged.

We will continue to provide updates on this situation when we know more.
