It was a busy week for the Dodgers as they had to do their very best to not look past the Rockies in anticipation of the Padres series over the weekend. With all of the hype from the media, it’s a little shocking they were able to sweep Colorado in the fashion that they did. 

With that being said, let’s jump into some of the biggest headlines surrounding the team this week! 



Kenley Jansen came into a save situation against the Rockies earlier this week and walked the first runner. That brought on an onslaught of booing coming down from the top deck to which Kenley Jansen had some words for after the game.

Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer also had some words, but his were directed at The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal. Bauer went off on an article written up by the veteran journalist that suggested MLB was testing out balls used in his outing because they suspected he was using a foreign substance.

Clayton Kershaw was asked about the Houston Astros and how he felt about fans giving them a hard time this season. Kersh went on to say that he was just happy to let the fans take care of Houston and that he wouldn’t have to waste any time on them this year.

And finally, former outfielder Yasiel Puig responded to allegations of assault earlier this week. The former Los Angeles star released the statement along with his lawyer and alleged that the victim in the case was seeking money. The victim’s lawyer has since responded and blasted Puig’s side.
