Dodgers News: Max Muncy Removed From Thursday’s Game After Being Hit By Pitch
The Los Angeles Dodgers are well on their way to a series sweep of the Oakland Athletics as they poured it on in the 6th inning.
However, not all is well as Max Muncy was removed from the game in the bottom of the 6th inning after being hit by a pitch in his previous at-bat in the 5th inning.
Muncy was replaced by David Peralta, who hit an RBI single. However, the immediate concern is regarding Muncy, who appeared to be in serious pain after being hit.
Hopefully, the Dodgers took him out for precautionary reasons (he was seen in the dugout just chilling in the 6th inning), as they have an important series coming up against the Padres in San Diego starting on Friday.
UPDATE:
The Dodgers say Max Muncy left the game with a left wrist contusion.
