Dodgers Notes: Angels Poach LA Minor Leaguer, Another Reliever Heads to IL, Mookie Betts Permanent Shortstop?

The Los Angeles Dodgers took down the Miami Marlins on Monday night, 6-3, to win their fifth straight game. Walker Buehler was solid in his first MLB game since June 2022, while Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, James Outman and Teoscar Hernández all homered.

Off the field, there were tons of great Dodger stories. Ohtani revealed how he might buy his manager a car, while Andrew Friedman said the Dodgers likely won’t add a new shortstop to replace Mookie Betts.

While Buehler made his return, another Dodgers reliever was placed on the injured list.
