Dodgers Notes: LA Trades for Pitcher, Deadline, Neverending Mookie and Ohtani and More
Two more sleeps until the Dodgers are back in action (at least depending on when you’re reading this) but they wouldn’t let themselves take a proper day off. On Wednesday, the front office swung a trade with the Triple-A pitching staff mostly in mind.
We also learned that fans will be able to watch the boys in blue on DirecTV for years to come. And we digested all that Mookie Betts and Shohei Ohtani stuff from the All-Star Game.
Plus, the All-Star Game being over means everyone can firmly set their sights on the trade deadline where the Dodgers seemingly have a few guys they’d like to pry away from the Chicago White Sox.
