Dodgers vs. Diamondbacks: Kershaw Day, Miguel Vargas Back in Lineup, How to Watch

The Los Angeles Dodgers are taking on the Arizona Diamondbacks for the sixth time this season on Friday night. Clayton Kershaw and Madison Bumgarner are facing off for the second time this season, and the Dodgers will be hoping for a similar result to the first one.

The Dodgers dominated Bumgarner and the Diamondbacks last Saturday, winning 10-1, thanks to Trayce Thompson’s three home run night. And, unsurprisingly, Thompson is back in the lineup on Friday, getting a second crack at Bumgarner.

Here’s the rest of the Dodgers lineup taking on MadBum:

Miguel Vargas is back in the lineup after a two-game absence, however, Miguel Rojas remains out with the minor groin strain. Chris Taylor is staying at shortstop in his absence.

Also, Will Smith is getting the day off, with Austin Barnes batting in the 9-hole and catching Kershaw.

James Outman is getting the start in center field against the left-handed pitcher.

First pitch for Friday’s game is slightly earlier than usual, at 6:40 p.m. PT. You can watch it on Spectrum SportsNet LA, or listen to it on AM570 radio.
