How are the Dodgers Doing?

The Dodgers tied the series back at 2-2 after a 13-inning battle against the Brewers. The eight  Dodger arms out of the bullpen tossed eight shutout innings, before Cody Bellinger produced a walk-off single, scoring Manny Machado to win the game, 2-1.

Why is this Game Important?

After a ballgame that lasted over five hours, the Dodgers and Brewers will play an afternoon game at Chavez Ravine. This will be the final home game for Los Angeles in the NLCS, before the series heads back to Milwaukee for Game 6 and Game 7 (If Necessary). The Dodgers have won three out of four games at home during the playoffs compared to a 2-2 record on the road.

Clayton Kershaw will look to bounce back after falling short of expectations on Game 1 of the NLCS in Milwaukee. Kershaw allowed four earned runs in three innings, in what was the shortest playoff start of his career.

Wade Miley will also make his second start of the NLCS after throwing 5.2 scoreless innings in Game 2. Miley has yet to allow a run in 10.1 career postseason innings.

  1. Kershaw has to be Kershaw today, and the team has to get him a few runs off Miley.
    Another must win game for our team, which has done so every time this year their backs were to the wall.

    1. Well then CK MUST keep the Brewers in the yard! As I recal, in EVERY PS game, including the WS he served up at least 1 HR.

    2. CK must then keep the Brewers in the yard. As I recall in every PS game, including the WS he served up at least 1 HR, and if I also recall, that 1st game against the Dbacks in last year’s NLDS he gave up 4!
