Outfielder Andy Pages Making Waves With Spring Performance For Dodgers

The Dodgers have had one of the best farm systems in the major leagues for a long time. Entering this season, that’s no different.

While has yet to release the farm system rankings, the Dodgers should be among the top half of the rankings. The Dodgers have an embarrassment of riches in the major and minor league squads. However, one name that stands out this spring is L.A.’s number-six-ranked 2023 prospect, outfielder Andy Pages.

Pages have been tremendous all spring long, and he credits all that to health. The 23-year-old spoke to Dodgers Insider Christian Romo and elaborated on what’s currently working for him.

“The main focus has been trying to stay healthy,” Pages said. “I haven’t felt any issues physically as of now, and I’m just trying to feel good at the plate.”

Pages has been a menace at the plate. He’s currently slashing .400/.500/1.000 with a 1.500 OPS, two home runs, eight RBIs, and six hits in 15 ABs.

The 6-foot-1 outfielder has been on another level. On top of that, he’s shown that he’s a viable option to be on the Opening Day roster. However, Pages was optioned on Sunday, so his debut will have to wait.

Pages 2023 season was cut short due to a torn labrum in his left shoulder. He underwent surgery in June 2023.

Luckily, he was healthy enough for spring ball, and he’s showing what he’s capable of. If he can continue this sensational play, Dodger manager Dave Roberts would have no choice but to have him come up to the big leagues.
