Dodgers News: Coach Dino Ebel Says LA Offense Will Be Better This Postseason

As the Dodgers continue their impressive season, things have a different feel to them this year. It’s not just the guys in the clubhouse but a certain aura surrounding the team.

They have found different ways to win ball games this season, something that former teams of the past struggled to do at times. However, it’s critical that they learned this because come playoff time, it will be a necessity.

Different members of the organization have spoken about how special this current version of the Dodgers is. Manager Dave Roberts went so far as to say that this is his favorite team he has managed.

Additionally, legendary third base coach Dino Ebel recently spoke with our own Doug McKain about why he thinks the offense should be better this season if the team is to make the postseason.

“There’s something about this club where when you need a hit we get it. Andrew Friedman has done a great job getting the guys that we needed to get us ready for the postseason.”

This team feels like they are never out of a game. They are a resilient group that has faced adversity all season long.

From dealing with all their bullpen issues early in the year and now going through the motions with the starting rotation, LA has found ways to survive and advance.

That is the name of the game, especially come playoff time. In the past, this team has relied upon only their strengths to win, but now they have been forced to tinker and use different methods to win games.

It was supposed to be a step-back type of season for the Dodgers. But as we head into the middle of August, they hold a huge nine-game lead in the National League West.

They are in familiar territory, despite getting here in a different way. This should bode well for them down the stretch of the season. This team really is special, and it’s showing on the field.
