Dodgers News: Most Recent Homestand Puts LA Over 3 Million in Attendance for 2023

The Dodgers have been one of the better teams in baseball over the last 10 seasons. They have continuously been in the postseason, despite not always living up to the hype surrounding them.

With this on-field success, the team has seen consistent attendance from the fans at Dodger Stadium. They have been one of the most-watched teams in the league and it shows in their numbers.

Once again, this season, LA has hit record numbers in terms of attendance. In their most recent homestand last week, the team hit over three million in attendance for 2023, according to the MLB attendance report.

The next closest team to the Dodgers is the New York Yankees, St. Louis Cardinals and San Diego Padres. But LA is the only franchise that has surpassed three million at this point in the year.

This is an extremely impressive feat for any team, but it just speaks to the continued devotion to winning from this team. Especially in a city like Los Angeles where there are so many things to do, it can be hard to always get fans to show up.

When a team is winning, fans show up. It’s that simple, and the Dodgers ownership has figured out different ways to get people to come to games. Having star players like Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman and Clayton Kershaw certainly helps things also.

They use different giveaways and theme nights to help draw people out, but winning is key. We often see other organizations struggling to get people out to games as the long season goes on, but the Dodgers have mastered this year in and year out.

Dodger Stadium is a destination spot for fans all over the country, and LA draws in huge crowds each game. As long as the team continues to be toward the top of the league, the organization can expect the attendance records to keep growing.

The Dodgers are one of the most well-run organizations across baseball and these numbers are a testament to all the hard work put in each day.
