  1. NO THANK YOU on Mike Trout. He’s a part time player nearing the end of his career. Re-signing Heyward and Peralta for another year makes a lot of sense. Still have Outman in CF for the next 6 years, and depth with Hernandez and Taylor. Betts can still spot start, although his long-term position is 2B. The re-signing of Heyward and Peralta allows DeLuca and De Paula time to get ready for the bigs. Same goes for Pages. Don’t trade top prospects for end-of-career guys…

    1. Busch replaces Peralta unless they use him for a trade. Heyward almost surely comes back to play with his bromance partner and compete for a championship, the Ds love what he brings on the field and in the locker room. Hernandez is a free agent so unless they trade Taylor or move Rojas, he may be overlap. My thinking is they put Lux back to 2nd after his knee rehab, and figure out something else for ss, it wouldn’t be horrible to me if they left Rojas as the starter, with Taylor and Lux backing him up. I also have my eye on on base machine Gauthier, who may be ready to debut in 2023, not sure about his defense at short but he does play the position. Deluca should be ready now, he looked good in his MLB debut, has excellent minor league credentials, and lots of useful tools, including speed, power, and he looked good defensively to me. DePaula is long term dream, and nothing more right now.

  2. Dodgers fans are set for an exciting time! Precision Machining There’s a tangible excitement surrounding the NLDS showdown. The possibility of Bobby Miller breaking out adds even more intrigue to the postseason. It’s exciting to think that Mike Trout might join the Dodgers; could he be the missing component for a championship run?

  3. Dodgers have a habit of signing older retread players and blocking their young propects.
