Dodgers Notes: Ohtani’s Won’t Play in Spring Training Opener, Mookie Betts Aiming For Gold Glove
Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts revealed that Shohei Ohtani won’t play in the team’s Spring Training opener against the San Diego Padres.
After his move to the infield, Mookie Betts is seeking to win a Gold Glove award at second base in 2024. Betts has won six Gold Glove awards but none at second base yet.
Dodgers general manager Andrew Friedman was the latest Dodger to speak on James Paxton’s injury history, saying he does not believe those injuries are a concern.
