Dodgers Notes: Will Smith Knee Injury Update, Fourth Reliever to Miss Opening Day, Max Muncy Feared Retirement
The Los Angeles Dodgers had a scary sight when All-Star catcher Will Smith was hit in the knee by a pitch in a Cactus League matchup against the Cincinnati Reds. He was forced to exit the game and did not return. However, manager Dave Roberts revealed it was just precautionary.
Another injury was unfortunately suffered as the Dodgers have another reliever expected to miss time. Although the details are unclear, this pitcher will be out with a metatarsal injury in his left foot and is currently wearing a walking boot.
And finally All-Star third baseman Max Muncy revealed that last year he wondered if it was time to retire. Muncy’s chiropractor found that a major ailment to the slugger was a displaced rib, which allowed him to return.

The Dodgers have a problem with injuries. Either players are not training properly or are being pushed too much or hard in the opening few days of camp. Yes, I am just a fan but, there are many of us who are like WTF? What is the problem? Will anyone from the front office be answering our questions about these multiple injuries?
