Dodgers Notes: Dave Roberts Returning, Andrew Friedman Talks Offseason Priorities, Wants Kershaw Back Next Year

Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman spoke to the media on Tuesday and revealed how the front office views the previous season and how they are preparing for 2024.

Calling 2023 an ‘organizational failure’, Friedman said that he wanted to focus on improving the Dodgers’ starting pitching going into the next season. He also confirmed that Dave Roberts will be the team’s manager in 2024.

  1. Roberts is and always has been awful in October. Next season come October, he should pull a George Costanza…every decision he wants to do, he should really do the opposite.

    Terrible manager, needs to go…the sooner the better. It all snowballed after starting Chokeshaw in game 1…the other players probably said to themselves after the six run first “here we go again”, completely sucked the air out of the team and went downhill from there. Should’ve pitched Pepiot, at least for the experience. One blunder after another.
