Dodgers Notes: Urias Sharp as LA Wins Series, Syndergaard Getting Closer, Injuries and Roster Moves and More
The Los Angeles Dodgers suddenly look to be back on track as they won 5-2 against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday, winning the four-game series against the Bucs and pulling within a half-game of first in the NL West. Julio Urias looked sharp in his return to Dodger Stadium, going six strong innings with eight strikeouts and getting the victory.
In other news, manager Dave Roberts challenged Noah Syndergaard after his struggles throughout the season in what seems to be true “put up or shut up” time for the former Mets star that has looked anything but that in Dodger blue. Also, reliever Daniel Hudson is slated to return to the injured list after making a triumphant return to the closer role in Wednesday’s win. You can read about that and more down below.
