Dodgers Rookie Starter Bobby Miller Faces Phillies
The Dodgers continue this rough road trip and attempt to salvage it starting with rookie right-hander Bobby Miller (2-0, 1.06 ERA) on the mound. He goes for his third win of the season against Phillies ace Aaron Nola (5-4, 4.30 ERA).
Coming off a heartbreaker of a loss on Friday night, the Dodgers need an exceptional start from Miller.
Here’s a look at the lineup Dave Roberts is sending out against the Philly right-hander.

Mookie Betts gets a start on the infield at second base with Miguel Vargas getting the afternoon off. Betts has been on fire over his last 10 games, hitting .326 with 6 home runs and a 1.152 OPS. He’s also generally hit better when starting in the infield, hitting .293 while starting at second base.
Chris Taylor starts at shortstop while Miguel Rojas still deals with that lingering neck issue. James Outman is back in the starting lineup against Nola. He went 1-3 against the right-hander earlier this season.
David Peralta has had the most success vs Nola, with a .556 batting average against him (5-9).
Will Smith catches Bobby Miller.
