Dodgers v Padres Preview: Who Has the Better Lineup? Will LA Retaliate? Biggest Weaknesses

The Dodgers and Padres face off again, this time for three games at Dodger Stadium. After last weekend’s series, there are a few big topics to dive in to and questions to ask out loud. Like, will the Dodgers retaliate for that crying Clayton Kershaw incident? And if so, how will they do it in a classy way?

Beyond that, we also get a look at the fully healthy Dodgers against the Padres with the return of J.D. Martinez on Friday. So, it’s time for a true roster and lineup side by side comparison.

With all that in mind, DodgersNation.com’s Doug McKain collabed with Padres’ insider Borna Nazari to talk Dodgers/Padres. Among the other topics are general thoughts on the two teams so far. What are the biggest struggles for the Dodgers (RISP, occasional pitching) and what’s gone wrong for the Friars (pitching, Juan Soto and Manny Machado struggles)?

Next, the guys preview this series with a Dustin May vs Blake Snell rematch, a Julio Urias vs Joe Musgrove rematch, and Tony Gonsolin and Michael Wacha getting their first taste of the series. Plus series predictions!
