Dodgers Notes: Buehler Takes Huge Step, Miller Out For a While, Roberts Talks Shohei Ohtani and More
It’s the Dodgers’ second off day of the week, but there’s still plenty of news surrounding your Boys In Blue! Walker Buehler reached a significant milestone in his rehab after having Tommy John surgery, and he’ll be a giant addition to LA’s rotation whenever he can get back on the mound.
In other news, Dave Roberts briefly talked about Shohei Ohtani during the quick Freeway Series, one which ended in a Dodger sweep while talk of the two-way superstar finding his way to the Angels’ rivals was stirring. On the other end of the spectrum, Dodger reliever Shelby Miller’s prognosis wasn’t good after he was placed on the injured list with neck pain, and the team will have to adjust in his absence.
