Dodgers Notes: Houston Astros come to LA, Emmet Sheehan Shoves Again, Phil Bickford Comes Back and More
Your Los Angeles Dodgers came off their second off day this week, but they definitely weren’t rusty on Friday as they defeated the Houston Astros in the opener of their three-game series at Chavez Ravine. Emmet Sheehan shoved yet again for LA, as he got into the win column for the first time in his major league career.
In other news, Phil Bickford came off the IL on Friday, returning to a Dodger bullpen that is in much need of reinforcements. In wasn’t all great on the injury front though, as Max Muncy saw his return date pushed back as he’s still affected by hamstring tightness.
