Dodgers Notes: Muncy Dodges Kershaw Question, Reliever Elects Free Agency, Heyward Re-Signing?

The time of wondering what the heck the Dodgers will do in the offseason is among us, as several existential questions face the front office.

Will Clayton Kershaw retire? How aggressive will the Dodgers be in their pursuit of Shohei Ohtani? Which impending free agents will they bring back?



One question was touched on by a Dodgers insider, who believes that Jason Heyward, who outperformed expectations this season, could be a realistic free agent signing for LA. Heyward quickly became a team favorite and was an excellent mentor to the many young players on LA’s roster.

  1. Kershaw it was good while it lasted but nothing is forever. Heyward needs to stay, Seager wasn’t a mistake it really didn’t matter if he said or not. Kike might go just because the dodgers didn’t keep him last time. And instead of the dodgers worrying about Kershaw and Otani they really should focus on getting better starters and relievers. If they sign Kershaw to 1 more year is because Kershaw needs to teach the young pitchers then retire.
