Dodgers Notes: Struggling Rookie Could be Sent to Minors, Noah Syndergaard on the Clock, Betts Streaking and More
In a phrase that’s becoming more familiar for the Dodgers, it was another day, another win for Los Angeles on Thursday night as they defeated the Angels 11-4 thanks to home runs from Mookie Betts, J.D. Martinez, Freddie Freeman and Will Smith. It was LA’s fourth win in their last five games as they remained just a half game out of first place in the NL West.
In other news, struggling Dodger infielder Miguel Vargas could be sent down to the minors as his troubles continue, while Noah Syndergaard is set to begin a rehab assignment imminently as he looks to both work his way back from a blister and find a road back into manager Dave Roberts’ good graces after a dreadful start to his first season as a Dodger.
