Dodgers: Walker Buehler Headed to the Injured List

The Dodgers have had a very tough time with their starting staff this year. It’s been difficult to keep guys healthy, but they are getting Clayton Kershaw back this weekend. Walker Buehler exiting the game on Friday night with an elbow injury only made things look a little bleaker.

With a history of issues in that elbow, there was plenty of cause for concern for the Dodgers. Even Dave Roberts didn’t sound overly positive about it following the loss on Friday. But the team did schedule him to undergo an MRI on that elbow this afternoon. 

The team officially placed him on the IL today. The Dodgers are calling it a forearm strain, which is always a bit of a concern for pitchers. Michael Grove was recalled in his spot.
