Dodgers Notes: Clayton Kershaw Ends His Coors Curse, Big Rotation Weapon Returning, Muncy Back and More

An off day and a trip to Denver didn’t bring the Dodgers momentum to a halt, as Clayton Kershaw exercised his Coors Field demons and J.D. Martinez brought his home run power with him in their 5-0 win over the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday. Suddenly the Dodgers struggles look like they may just be in the rearview mirror — having won five of six — and valuable reinforcements are starting to come back.

Speaking of reinforcements, Max Muncy made his long awaited return to the Dodger lineup on Tuesday after going through a setback last week. Starting pitcher Julio Urias is set to return to the mound for the Dodgers on Saturday, and he tried to figure out how to put his cold start behind him during his time away. Matt Wagner was born and raised in southern California, and he lived there before moving to Colorado and getting his B.A. in Communications from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 2022.
