Dodgers Notes: Justin Verlander to LA, Julio Urias Return Imminent, All-Star Voting and More

Monday was another off day for your Los Angeles Dodgers, but the team’s feeling a lot better than they were a couple weeks ago, having won four out of five and narrowly missed a sweep over the hated Houston Astros. Aside from that, Julio Urias is moving ever closer to a much anticipated return after dealing with a nagging hamstring injury.

In other news, first baseman Freddie Freeman talked about why getting hit number 2,000 at Dodger Stadium was so important to him. Also, should the Dodgers make a trade for Justin Verlander at the deadline? One insider suggested a rather wild trade idea that would see LA land the three-time Cy Young winner.   1. You should get your fact straight and do some research. The Dodgers did not sweep the Astros.
