Dodgers Notes: LA Down 0-2 After Another Poor Performance, Lance Lynn to Start Game 3, What Happened to the Offense?

The Dodgers face a two-game deficit heading into a win-or-go-home game in Arizona on Wednesday after falling 4-2 to the Diamondbacks Monday night.

Starting pitcher Bobby Miller’s postseason debut lasted less than 2 innings as the rookie allowed four hits, two walks and three earned runs before getting pulled. In all, the Dodgers used five pitchers to get through the game.

The Dodgers will have to rely on starting pitcher Lance Lynn if they are to avoid a sweep in the NLDS and an early exit from the 2023 MLB playoffs.

  1. Lance Lynn starting game 3 is looking like a pretty good option at this point. Who would’ve thunk that five days ago??? I would love to see a game 4 just for the entertainment/shock value of choke artist Kershaw starting and getting lit up again…that would be an appropriate way to end the season.

  2. Over swinging, home runs are nice, but you got to make your swing count. Use all the field.
