Dodgers Notes: LA Sweeps, Mookie on a Heater, Praise from Doc, Trade Away a Top Prospect?

The Los Angeles Dodgers closed out their first half with another win, heading into the All-Star break winners of five of their last six with a sweep over the Angels. Similar to Friday, the victory was powered by the offense as a 5-run 2nd inning made the game a rout early at Dodger Stadium, and it was another sign that the team is finding their rhythm as the season hits its pause button.

In other news, Mookie Betts talked about his current hot streak where he’s established himself as the most feared hitter in a deep Dodgers lineup. Also, manager Dave Roberts discussed the career resurgences of two veterans on LA’s roster. David Peralta and Jason Heyward essentially came to LA as fliers, and both have turned that chance into revitalized careers. You can read all about that and much more down below!
