Dodgers Notes: Yoshinobu Yamamoto Dominates, Shohei Ohtani Ahead of Schedule, Mookie Betts Embracing Narratives and More

Yoshinobu Yamamoto faced off against some of the best hitters that the Dodgers have to offer in live batting practice on Saturday. This included Freddie Freeman and Mookie Betts, both of whom praised the right-hander for his performance.

Betts is embracing all the outside noise surrounding the Dodgers this season, calling it part of the territory that comes with being on the team. Shohei Ohtani seems to be ahead of schedule, according to manager Dave Roberts.

Los Angeles is one of two teams projected to win over 100 games, and L.A. fans weighed in on whether former third baseman Justin Turner should take over as manager one day.
