Dodgers vs Diamondbacks: Latest Betting Odds, Predictions and Picks for September 13

The Dodgers won the series opener in Arizona on Monday night, feasting on the DBacks bullpen after being shut down by rookie Ryne Nelson for six innings. Los Angeles clinched a postseason berth with Monday’s win, and with a win tonight (or a Padres loss in Seattle) they would clinch the NL West title for the ninth time in the past ten years.

Clayton Kershaw takes the mound for the Dodgers tonight in his third start since returning from the injured list. Kershaw has allowed three runs in 11 innings in his last two starts, throwing 64 and 62 pitches in the two games. He was dominant in his last outing against the Giants, allowing just a two-run homer in the no-decision. Overall on the season, Kersh is 7-3 with a 2.62 ERA.

Merrill Kelly will get the start for the DBacks, looking for his 13th win of the season. Kelly is sporting an excellent 2.94 ERA this season, but his luck against the Dodgers hasn’t been as good. He is 0-3 this year against L.A., allowing 14 earned runs on 19 hits and eight walks in 13 innings pitched.
